Resident Evil 4 preview:
In RE 4, you play as Leon Kennedy (the same Leon from RE 2) who is now a secret service agent, has been charged with protecting the President’s daughter. Leon, apparently, is the worse agent ever as the daughter is kidnapped to a small South American town. With no Umbrella Corporation and no zombies, you might think that this is an easy thing to do, but of course it isn’t.

Resident Evil 4 preview:
But you can bet your last first aid spray that Capcom has a suitable challenge to match the player's newfound abilities - perhaps the most impressive example of which is one of the game's bosses, a bloody great giant who can literally pick Leon up or simply stomp him into the ground.

Resident Evil 4 preview:
Resident Evil was long overdue an update and big changes areafoot to gaming's premier survival horror franchise. It's a new lease of life for the genre, which was growing stale under the weight of clichés and unwelcomingelements of game design. For the first time in what seems like ages, we're excited about survival horror again. And so should you.©

Resident Evil 4 preview:
You find him very quickly, he’s flanked you while you were turning and is now choking you while screaming gibberish at you. The new camera system combined with the dangerously intelligent enemies makes Resident Evil 4 at easily as scary as its predecessors.Next: Page 21 2 ©

Resident Evil 4 preview:
Which brings me to the next thing. RE4 can only be played in “widescreen” (16:9) so for those of us who are not blessed with wide screen TVs we’ll have to view the game in “letterbox”. It’s not really known as to why this is but one possible reason is to give you a much wider view of your surroundings. Next: Page 21 2 3 4 ©

Resident Evil 4 preview:
It might seem like a long time but with Capcom concentrating on four other new games/franchises which may or may not be GameCube exclusives according to latest rumours, Capcom certainly have a lot on their hands.©

Resident Evil 4 preview:
Although the story isn’t clear at the moment, I am sure it will turn out to be nothing short of exciting. Every gamer who is interested in the survival horror scene, or even in action games, should be interested in Resident Evil 4, as it could turn out to be the best game of 2004.

Resident Evil 4 preview:
This article has been a complete nightmare to write. Every time we start it we have to somehow hold ourselves back from screaming and running round the room like little kids. All the while we're looking over our shoulder just to check that the big boss isn't ripping off his shirt and tearing a tree out of the ground... or that there isn't a giant worm in our coffee... or that when Tim takes his jacket off he hasn't got an entire armoury in his pocket. In case you hadn't already guessed, we've been playing Resident Evil 4. Or rather, it's been playing us.

Resident Evil 4 preview:
Resident Evil 4 is set to come out in January 2005. We should have a hands-on report from someone who has had more playtime than me, so stay tuned, as it should be up in a couple of days.

Resident Evil 4 preview:
Japanese gaming bible Famitsu recently went on sale with a fully playable one-level demo of Capcom's up-and-coming scare-fest. The code in question is practically identical to the E3 build we played, but there are several little changes as well as the chance to rack up a hi-score.
