Mario Superstar Baseball review: This is a great sports game for two players, and still alright for three or four. The variety of possibilites alone allows for games to be continually entertaining.

Mario Superstar Baseball review: In the end, Mario Superstar Baseball isn't a great game, but it definitely has its moments. A rental is recommended, but buy it only if there are other people around to play ball. Author: Adam Bender   aka: Nightwing

Mario Superstar Baseball review: It's never a great sports rendition, and nor is it a great arcade-tickling Mario game. The superficiality of the challenges and the clunkiness of general play mean it's a dissatisfying performance for Japan's most popular sport and its most popular plumber. It's a sad conclusion, but Mario really only ever gets to second base.

There just wasn't enough in this one for me to give it a glowing score and suggest that you run out and buy it.

Mario Superstar Baseball review: Others simply looking for a filler Nintendo game to tidethem over should rent before buying. Nintendo didn't quite make a grandslam with Mario Superstar Baseball, but it did manage to make a fewhome runs. Lack of depth, repetitive gameplay, and low lifespan are allflaws that an off-season training camp can definately remedy for thenext installment.
