Mario Power Tennis review:
The single player experience is great and highly entertaining, while the multiplayer and party game aspect is about as good as it gets. Making Mario Power Tennis a part of your GameCube library would be a very smart move. Just make sure you watch out for Diddy Kong-he is a tricky one.

Mario Power Tennis review:
The defensive and offensive powershots can sometimes lead to confusing times on screen but everyone at least does suffer from the same information overload. The real magic is again down to the way Nintendo handles their games. They seem to be able to make their titles appeal to just about every age group, and with Mario Power Tennis, they’ve certainly done it again.

Mario Power Tennis review:
It’s solid fun, but rarely anything more – if you owned the N64 version, I strongly advise that you stay away from this. However, if you hold no high expectations from this game, and are after a decent, entertaining, occasionally frustrating brightly coloured tennis experience, there’s a plumber in a red cap ready to serve. I’ll see you on the court.

Mario Power Tennis review:
Mario is a good sport. He’s seen tennis games before, he’s played golf, he’s been in a massive melee, he can ride go-karts pretty well, and he’s even played a bit of baseball in his time! And who knows what he’s gotten up to in all those parties he’s had over the years, but to us all, regardless of how much exercise he does, he’s still the short stocky George Costanza of Nintendo, with a true Italian heritage. Guess what? He’s back for another game of tennis, determined to show us that he’s better than Hewitt and anybody else that stands in-front of him… Even Princess Peach!

Mario Power Tennis review:
I unlocked acouple things after winning the tournaments, but they seemed to have nocorrelation with which character or what court I played on. The thingthat made the most sense was that I unlocked a mini game aftercompleting all the levels of difficulty of another one.Even so, overall, the folks at Nintendo have managed to produce an awesome sequel.

Mario Power Tennis review:
The changes aren't revolutionary by any means, but the small refinements and new gameplay modes make the sequel worth a look from seasoned fans of Mario Tennis. For those who missed out on the N64 version, now is your chance to play one of the better multiplayer games around.

Mario Power Tennis review:
Even if you play with others infrequently or already own Mario Tennis (N64), the issue is really when and at what price you should add Mario Power Tennis to your collection. The extra modes may be trivial, but the game’s core is as addictive as Nintendo games come. Mario Power Tennis can be purchased from our partners at Lik-Sang.

Mario Power Tennis review:
Sports games have grown up. And damn them for it. Originally the technology was so limited that they had to cut corners. Having ice hockey players dart around like waterboatmen was just the way it had to be; having the ball glued to a footballer's feet was easier than trying to compute them as separate objects; and using button-mashing to simulate running and other athleticism was just logical.

Mario Power Tennis review:
Once you get past the insane premise, you’ll find a fairly standard game of consoletennis. You can choose from an array of Mario-land talent to take to the courtin a bevy of modes, some more interesting than others.

Mario Power Tennis review:
To those of you who owned the Nintendo 64, and did not abandon it in its last months of coughing, sputtering and gaming, I salute you. Inside this last space of time were some excellent games, one of which was the sublime Mario Tennis.
