Mario Party 6 review:
Still, Mario Party 6 has potential to make a great rental to a group of friends wanting to get trashed and be competitive at home for a night. If you already own a Mario Party game for the ‘Cube, you’d be better off avoiding this installment and investing your money in the far more interesting WarioWare Mega Party Game$.
Mario Party 6 review:
For the game renters out there, renting the game will give you a partial experience: I highly suggest checking out the Mic Mode, but I doubt the microphone will come included in the rental. I suggest finding a friend with a copy and checking it out that way.
Mario Party 6 review:
And so, if we were you, we'd decline the invitation. If you've already got a Mario Party title, the addition of a microphone isn't enough to warrant buying this one. Even if you haven't, don't bother - Mario Party 6 offers too much tedium and not nearly enough fun, mic or no mic.
Mario Party 6 review:
And that’s the whole problem with this game. If you have 4 players then you would struggle to find a more entertaining game, but with fewer players it’s just slow and pointless. Not only does this game have no single player value it also isn’t worth getting over the previous versions. You should be able to pick up Mario Party 4 for close to half the price of 6, and get just as much fun.
