Madden NFL 2005 review:
Give a player a low tackle whilst on the defense in Madden, andthe opposing player will flip in a realistic and horribly painful looking manner, receive a high tackle, and you'll cringe as your character has the artificial windknocked out of him. Having feelings for simulated sports characters? It does lookthat good.
Madden NFL 2005 review:
In America they do things differently. Not just when it comes to foreign policies or putting mayonnaise on everything from hamburgers to beer but sports as well. Over yonder side of the big pond, where Madden NFL games sell more than the bible, football is about flabby, grimacing men in helmets while commentator John Madden gives English his best shot between mouthfuls of pizza.
Madden NFL 2005 review:
GameCube sports fans have been getting the short end of the stick for a while now, as only EA has decided to keep producing traditional titles for the console. The fact that Madden NFL 2005 is the only football sim on the GameCube this year makes my job as a reviewer substantially easier, as I don't have to compare Madden to other titles like Sega's ESPN NFL 2K5. The only titles EA's competing with are previous Madden incarnations.
