Killer 7 review:
Killer 7 has to be one of the most stylish and weird games to come out in a long time with the combination of its unique visual style and near insane storyline making it reminiscent of something from the old Liquid Television show on MTV.

Killer 7 review:
Essentially this means the only way of dying in Killer7 is for Garcian to be killed – incidentally he has more health than anyone other than Harman. The first time I played Killer7 it was weird. Even though I was expecting it to be weird it still took me a bit to work our whether I was going insane or not. There’s a lot of mumbo-jumbo at the ...

Killer 7 review:
Boss fights are frequent inKiller7, some of them are easy and some of them are pretty difficult. But they areall short and a few are even scripted. You'll fight everything from an anime-styledangel bodyguard to two decapitated men who fire chunks of brain at you. It may notmake much sense, but its fun and well presented.Next: Page 21 2 ©

Capcom is on a clear roll - a revitalised Resident Evil, Viewtiful Joe and now Killer 7, possibly the most bizarre and unsettling game you'll ever play. Essential gaming material.

Killer 7 review:
You just wish Capcom had gone all the way and done something truly mesmerising with gaming, so you could say yours truly is personally disappointed that it's ended up merely being a stylised shooter. But taken on its own merits, it's a damned fine effort and it's earned itself a fan here - certainly in the context of any future drunken rant on the subject. Just try it.

Killer 7 review:
When Killer 7 was initially announced to US gamers while back, there was clearly some confusion on the part of many. The Capcom name attached to the project coupled with the game’s stylized graphics complete with images of guns and the promise of plenty of blood sent message boards alight as posters put their own ideas of what they thought or wanted the game to play like. Only a few of us fortunate enough to have played previous works by the game’s writer/director Suda 51 had an inkling of what to expect, and we knew it was going to be quite a change of pace from games the company was well-known for. Initially planned as a Game Cube exclusive, but shifted to the PlayStation 2 as well during development, Killer 7 is a truly bizarre masterpiece that mature players will appreciate far more than those looking for violence for violence‘s sake..

P.S.: I'd like to use this opportunity to recommend all of you to keep an eye on another artistic looking game, namely Okami. It's, conveniently, also being developed by a segment of Capcom and it will hit the stores on the 14th of November this year. A familiar date, isn't it?

Spanning two discs, Killer 7’s insane story is set in an alternate reality. The world decides to rid itself of nuclear weapons, embarking on a journey towards unequivocal peace that culminates in the expulsion and subsequent explosion of the planet’s stockade of missiles.

Killer 7 review:
I never tired of hearing an enemy laugh, scanning for it, then blowing its head off. The missions were superbly designed, with some fantastic areas to play through. So there you go, killer7, is a real Marmite experience which pulls no punches in being bold, different, and completely insane, and it’s proud of it too.

Killer 7 review:
High-reaching but underachieving, Killer 7 could have been truly exceptional, although we sure hope the story doesn't end here. At its worst, it's as curiously dysfunctional a "game" as the Harmon's are a "family," and at its best Killer 7 is one of the most artfully designed footnotes in gaming history.

+ This game oozes personality like an over-ketchup'ed hamburger. Killer7 has a sweet-looking anime quality to it that will definitely turn some heads. I'm also fond of the excessive gore, which includes spurting blood and much dismemberment. Character designs are equally impressive. + Killer7's on-rails control scheme is absolutely fantastic.

Killer 7 review:
This isn't to say Killer 7 is always a walk in the park; the control scheme still makes maneuvering a little cumbersome, and it's easy to get lost amongst the unavoidable backtracking. Still, conundrums boil down to choosing the right assassin at the right time, pulling this lever or that lever, or entering codes so obvious, it can't rightfully called a puzzle.

It is different - no doubt about that - but rest assured that months from now people will still be talking about the game that turned convention on its ear and showed that there are still some ideas left untapped. It's just too bad there isn't more of a game here of which to speak.

Killer 7 review:
The music is also very effective. It's barely noticeable at first, but as you play, it slowly starts to work its way into your mind. The subdued music also makes the occasional burst of sound all the more startling. And the unexpected techno music that plays as you pass through the hallways that lead to boss fights is definitely fun.
