Donkey Kong Jungle Beat review:
Each crest is equal in value - to unlock new worlds and levels you need certain amounts of crests, the number of which are never out of reach.Pretty soon, some fatal flaws become apparent. First of all, the game is seriously short. If you just sat down and played, you ...
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat review:
Here is a title whose deep gameplay requires unique hand-eye coordination skills and sharp mathematical prowess. That is, if you enjoy that kind of thing. But if you're a perfectionist like me, who wants (with reasonable effort invested) to be able to walk away from a game with 100% recorded on your memory card, you might want to give Jungle Beat a rent to see if it,s worth frustration due to lack of closure. However, if there had been any more innovation, it might not have worked so well. Despite the lack of replay value it is a solid game that is sure to provide many hours of entertainment.
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat review:
But with Jungle Beat, it just seems a lot more challenging having to count your beats as well as mess the boss up. While each boss fight you’ll encounter will have its thrill, it’ll all be gone soon enough. Once you blaze through the first ten levels or so, the bosses will start to repeat. You’ll end up wondering where exactly Nintendo got innovative in this one.
