Chibi Robo review: As a mini robot whose sole duty in life is to make others happy, you explore a house that's much bigger than you and use all sorts of crazy, tiny objects to accomplish your goals. If you like exploring with basically no danger whatsoever, a) we should be friends, because me too me too! and b) you'll like this game.

Chibi Robo review: While it's not for everyone, those who are willing to look past what they could consider childish graphics, and an obsession with housework that's nearly as strong as your mum's, will find a title with as much heart as there is fun wrapped up into a four-inch-tall bundle. Chibi-Robo doesn't deserve to be relegated to being a mere cult hit. Buy a new doorstop.

Chibi Robo review: There are only so many stains you can clean keeping your sanity intact, and there’s a lot of text that you’d like to hurry up and get past but can’t. It’s hardly enough to truly hurt the overall gameplay, though. So even skeptics of “cute” games might want to give this one a try.

Chibi Robo review: A laid-back, surreal and open-ended game full of puzzles. It even finds ways to make housework fun. It's a strange game, but one with considerable charm.

Chibi Robo review: It’s clearly not a game for everyone, but those that are open minded and looking for a fun time will find Chibi-Robo delivers. Really the only nagging problems with the game are the simplistic graphics and the camera, which sometimes refuses to go where you want it. If you’re looking for something different from the norm, I highly suggest giving Chibi-Robo a try. -- Craig Majaski

Chibi Robo review: Thank the mighty gaming gods that there are some publishers and developers out there still willing to take a gamble on releasing quirky and original titles that, let’s face it, simply aren’t as prevalent as they used to be in this day of big-budget development costs and mainstream demand for first-person shooters, new Maddens and known franchises. Nintendo has never been one to follow the mainstream and steer away from oddball games, and their push to reinvigorate the industry with innovation and original properties continues with the release of Japanese developer, Skip’s adorably weird GameCube adventure, Chibi-Robo. Matching Katamari Damacy stride for stride in both bizarre humor and toy-like appeal (the games are completely different in terms of gameplay though), Chibi-Robo is an astronomically charming adventure/platformer that every gamer needs to open their hearts and minds to.

Chibi Robo review: Perhaps with a bit more time to polish the camera and a multiplayer mode, this really could have been the next Katamari.Regardless, this is a thoroughly enjoyable experience and definitely worth checking out if you happen to be a fan of the Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing play-style.
