Call Of Duty: Finest Hour review:
Call of Duty: Finest Hour is a proficient shooter that will surely please fans of the PC-based Call of Duty games. The game’s single-player campaign is enjoyable despite some questionable design choices. That said, while Finest Hour is always good and often times great, it never quite reaches excellence.

Call Of Duty: Finest Hour review:
All in all, Call of Duty: Finest Hour is an average first person shooter. It does approach greatness on a few occasions, and the intensity of some of the battles will certainly give you an adrenaline boost that the majority of first-person shooters cannot. However, the great number of irritating flaws and the lack of a multiplayer mode will ultimately hurt your enjoyment of the game.

Call Of Duty: Finest Hour review:
However the eye does crave a bit of colour occasionally and you will find yourself staring at over 100 different shades of Grey. I would also like to feel the sensation of running a little better, I think Half-Life showed us that movement could be handled very well in an FPS, but I didn’t feel that frantic, dodging bullets-running here.

Call Of Duty: Finest Hour review:
Today's history lesson begins with the universal truth that war is not fun. It's a messy affair where terrible things happen, people get hurt and noble intentions quickly turn sour. That makes Call Of Duty: Finest Hour the most accurate war simulation ever because it's not fun either, for exactly the same reasons.

Call Of Duty: Finest Hour review:
For those of you who don’t have a high-powered PC, or if you’re a hermit living in a cave made from waves crashing on the California shoreline, then you probably don’t know about the beauty that is Call of Duty. To put it plain and simple, take Halo and put it in a World War II setting. This phenomenal piece of software has been responsible for tons of LAN parties, online hours, and loss of valuable sleep due to its addictive gameplay and fabulous multiplayer. Finally, console owners can experience the Call of Duty experience with the first console translation of the game, subtitled Finest Hour. While the game keeps true to its roots, a few problems do keep it from excelling above all others.
