Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One review:
Call of Duty 2: Big Red One ultimately doesn’t stand as the true dawning of a new console FPS era as we’ve hoped.

Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One review:
If your PC can’t run Call of Duty 2, and you can’t afford to get an Xbox 360, what do you do? You glance sceptically at Big Red One.

Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One review:
In Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, players experience the adrenaline rush and harsh realities of war as never before. As a part of America’s most decorated and heroic fighting unit, The Big Red One, players work together with their squad to accomplish a variety of land, see and air combat missions spanning North Africa, Italy and Nazi-occupied Western Europe.

Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One review:
Call of Duty: Big Red One is a brilliant World War II game and standout first-person shooter. The proliferation of WWII games on the market makes it easy to be wary of the genre, but if you’re looking for a good action game, Big Red One is definitely worth your time. Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One review:
If the only platform you have is the GameCube then I highly recommend picking this game up, otherwise pick it up for the Xbox for multiplayer via Xbox Live or on the PS2 via the broadband network adapter and GameSpy's console matchmaking multiplayer service. In the end The Big Red One is the best shooter you can get for the GameCube this year.

Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One review:
..and not much more. Unless you're a hardcore WWII game fanatic, Big Red One's probably only worth a rent.

Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One review:
While it offers an interesting and varied campaign, Big Red One doesn't quite nail down the intense feel of World War II infantry combat.

Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One review:
The singleplayer missions are very intense and show Call of Duty’s intensity at its best. The action is simply top-notch for most of the game although there are some low points that sparingly appear. Overall, the development combination of Treyarch and Gray Matter Studios helped the console series quite a bit. The lack of multiplayer keeps the Gamecube version a bit below the others though.
