Tales Of Phantasia review:
I'm a huge fan of Namco's Tales series. It's one of the best RPG series out there and it's been around for a long time. It all started with Tales of Phantasia on the SNES in 1996, but sadly the game was never released outside of Japan. Of course I've always been curious of how the saga began and so when news came that the game was to be re-released for the GBA, I was probably the first to book a copy of it. - Lania S., Grrlgamer.com
Tales Of Phantasia review:
But, almost totally, this is a game that makes our GBA a Super Nintendo: and one with a decent d-pad, battery life and scratch-free screen that doesn't need us to fiddle with firmware and dally with grey-hued legality to enjoy.

On top of this, my time with the import had me frustrated by some overly slow movement in battle, as well as garishly oversaturated colors. Hopefully in the years since its Japanese release Namco will have smoothed out some of these details. We'll let you know in our full review very soon.
Tales Of Phantasia review:
This good-looking little role-playing game spawned a whole series back in the '90s, and it still holds up well today for the Game Boy Advance.

We take the Game Boy Advance port of Namco's role-playing classic for a test drive. The original is 10 years old, so does it still hold up?
