So while this review has now provided me with two brilliant new game ideas, and hence my future life of riches, that’s not enough to win me over. It wasn’t appropriate to make a GBA Dynasty Warriors, and the inevitable disappointment of an already extremely tired series has been fully realised.

You have your strong and fast attacks, special Musou abilities, and some temporary enhancements you can use to help you slay the enemy. The largest drawback in Musou mode is that you have to wait before you can actually play the game -- you have to wait for everyone to finish their various actions before it's your turn to hand out some punishment.

The "A" and "B" are the quick and strong attacks, and the "R" button is used for your Musou abilities. Like a tactics game, movement comes in phases, where you move your warriors and must wait for your enemies to complete their movement and attack phases.
