In this sequel to Duel Masters: Sempai Legends, you must battle against characters from the Duel Masters animated series in a mission to save the world.
Duel Masters: Kaijudo Showdown review:
So what we've got here is a game made for fans of the Duel Masters TV show and customizable card game. That's not a bad thing, as it definitely appeals to both demographics, but not much beyond that. Those familiar with Duel Masters should give Kaijudo Showdown a go, but if those not aren’t missing out on much.-- Chris Faylor
Duel Masters: Kaijudo Showdown review:
Like the console version, Duel Masters: Kaijudo Showdown will be enjoyable if you are already a Duel Masters fan. Its portrayal of the card game is fun in its own away and pretty accurate, as well. If the whole monster fighting thing eluded you, chances are that Duel Masters isn’t going to change your mind.
Duel Masters: Kaijudo Showdown review:
Kaijudo Showdown offers a story-driven experience in which the lead character must solve a sinister mystery to prevent the world from falling into chaos. Featuring interaction with characters from the TV show, the ability to build and fine-tune decks using 300 cards and the chance to enter Shop Tournaments and win special booster packs.
Duel Masters: Kaijudo Showdown review:
The devil is in the details, and sometimes those details can make the difference between a mediocre game and a respectable one. Released just months ago, Duel Masters: Sempai Legends was a decent but ultimately forgettable addition to the card-battle genre.
