Ace Combat Advance casts the player as a pilot in the United Air Defense. As the newest recruit, you must help the UAD to destroy the Air Strike Force and bring General Resources Ltd., an evil worldwide economic superpower, to its knees.

The game is a well-done version of the PS2 3D game, and can be quite a lot of fun to play, trying to unlock new planes by achieving the S rankings on missions. If Namco chooses to make another Ace Combat Advance, hopefully they consider some of the games downfalls, and improve upon this game to create a better experience. Overall: 74/100
Ace Combat Advance review:
GBA-owning Ace Combat fans will certainly want to avoid this title and hope for something better when the PSP releases. I’ll give Namco an E for effort, but just because a gaming system exists doesn’t necessarily mean your game needs to be ported over to it. Ace Combat Advance just seems like a "crash and burn" attempt to milk an established license on an aging handheld platform.
