A fun and original game, but I wish they cut back on the difficulty level.

Trauma Center: Under The Knife review:
In a genre of one or two, that might be forgivable, but the truth is that DS owners can be better served - by Phoenix Wright in the story-driven stakes, and by whatever falls of the shelf when you kick it in the reactions race. You'll definitely need confidence, deftness of touch, sharp reflexes and superhuman concentration if you're planning to scrub up here, and it never! Gets! Any! Easier!

Trauma Center: Under The Knife review:
In the meantime, the region-free game should be no problem to import for anyone looking for a challenging, innovative and story-driven DS title with some good longevity.

Trauma Center: Under The Knife review:
The same niche filled by ER and Law & Order, more or less. Just showing this game to a non-gamer may be enough to convince them that the DS is something different, something that they can relate to, and that's an accomplishment in itself. That it's wrapped in tightly designed gameplay, impressive visuals, and an amusing story is an achievement Atlus should be very satisfied with.

Trauma Center: Under The Knife review:
Any fan of puzzle games, or DS owners for that matter will get a kick out of Trauma Center. It’s the kind of game that the handheld was designed for. Aside from being a unique title in and of itself, it manages to utilize the capabilities of the DS that expand way beyond the point of being gimmicky while at the same time establishing itself as one of the most intense and pulse pumping puzzle games out there.
