Sonic Rush review:
Not only is the game very polished and extremely fun to play, it doesn't abuse the DS by trying to take advantage of all of its features. It concentrates on one advantage of the system and runs with it (pun intended). If you at all like the Sonic series or even 2D platformers, do yourself a favor and pick up this great gem from Sega. -- Marty Chinn

Sonic Rush review:
While the 2-D Sonic tradition has been carried on fairly well with the three Game Boy Advance releases, one can’t help but notice that with each new GBA release, the games began to feel a bit stale. The games were good enough in themselves, but they just didn’t really bring anything new to the series. Thankfully, Sonic Team decided that it was time to give the old 2-D Sonic a makeover with their new DS release “Sonic Rush” and the result is one of the best 2-D Sonic games ever released. Molding the intense speed of the original Genesis releases, with a fresh, updated visual approach, Sonic Team has breathed new life into the Sonic series and shown that our speedy blue hedgehog still has a few miles left in him.

Sonic Rush review:
Thwarting Dr Robotnik's nefarious schemes have never been this fun, especially with the blue hedgehog on the DS. Good clean fun for Sonic fans all over.

Sonic Rush review:
Personally, I preferred the voices from the old Saturday morning version that was on back in the Genesis days…All in all, Sonic Rush is a great game and definitely one worth buying. Long standing fans of the series will be thrilled to find the series returning to its speedy roots and will ultimately have a blast with it.

Sonic Rush review:
Some of the enemies in these sections have life bars above their heads, which is an idea lifted straight from Sonic Heroes. In fact, it was probably the only idea worth rescuing from that mess of a game.

And that’s where sonic rush comes in because its finally out and for those curious to know more about it , here’s the real deal , from someone who has been playing it a lot since it’s release.

So then, Rush will be well liked, and deserves to be. But Sonic isn't his own genre, and unfortunately for the end score, a lot of the stuff he competes against got past a lot of his problems a long time ago.

Sonic Rush review:
Luckily, when enemies do bar your way, the game is pretty forgiving about Sonic or Blaze being able to bust through them with minimal effort. The designers did attempt to break up the simplistic game play a bit by forcing Sonic and Blaze to stop and fight a handful of mechanical terrors every once in a while, but it doesn't really add much to the overall game.

Sonic Rush adds some moves, but it also stays true to the series' roots as a great side-scrolling platformer.
