Pros:- A competent, fun racer...Cons:- ...hidden beneath layers of garb and hyperactive weaponry- Bland level design- Repetitive boss battles that offer little sense of progression

Ultimately SBK relies on one thing alone: is it any good at arcade snowboarding. And the answer is, well, it's 6/10 good at that. And then the ridiculous attacks appear, freeze you, stun you, then squish you in the middle of the only really good bit - doing some tricks - and ensure it can never have more than 4.
Snowboard Kids review:
There were times I was in first place, only to get nailed with three projectiles in a row and end up in last place. The game gives you no grace period to recover. Also, it's really easy to get trapped in corners. Later levels have cliffs and gaps that are way too easy to fall or get knocked off of. Still, I can't complain too much; even with these perils, it's not too hard to win races.
