Polarium review: However, I really came to realize how great Polarium was when I went to bed after a long day of play. As I closed my eyes, visions of Polarium blocks began dancing through my head. That, for me, is the sign of a truly exceptional puzzle title.

Polarium review: It's a frantic affair with the most proficient pattern-spotters usually winning out, but perhaps one that could have been fleshed out with a few more modes. As nice an addition as it is, it works best alone.

Polarium preview: The main problem I can see with this game, though, is that it might have a limited lifespan, especially if you find that you struggle using a stylus. The game is not brimming over with game modes, so may get stale after a while. However, I reckon that it should be great fun while it lasts.©

Polarium review: To round this game up, I feel that it is an achievement. It is probably the bestpuzzle game I’ve played in quite a while. It is very addictive and a lot of fun. Butthe puzzle mode has a replay factor of absolute zero. Anyone who would go back to itfor fun would be a mad man. The challenge mode could bring people back though, see ifthey could score 1000 lines and above.

Polarium preview: However, great soundtrack or no it's the gameplay that truly matters, and I'm happy to report that Polarium is a highly addictive puzzle game that shines on the Nintendo DS. Not only is it based on a neat concept, but it also makes good use of the system's abilities. Showcase your drawing skills and groove to the beat when it releases April 18.

Polarium review: Polarium: the new Tetris? Review inside.
DS Central previews "One line! Hooray!" by John B
Polarium preview: You'll need all the practice you can get when Polarium squirms its way onto your DS. It's already out in Japan for those import-happy people, but everyone in Europe and North America has to wait until March and April respectively. It's simple nature that gradually builds into a more complex game will give you enough challenge to last quite a while.

Polarium review: Not since Tetris has a puzzle game hit its mark so surely, delivering dazzling depths of addictiveness couched in seeming simplicity and elementary yes evasive objectives.

Polarium review: The simplest games are often the ones that you can play over and over again, and still get lots of fun out of it. Tetris is still as fun (and popular) today as it was all those years ago. The DS is perfect for puzzlers, and Nintendo has delivered a game based around the simple concept of colours. How does Polarium rate? Well, it's not all black and white.
Gaming Age reviews
Polarium review: The multiplayer could have been a bit more robust and single card play would have been easy to implement given the simplicity of the graphics. Graphics and music are fairly basic, but that’s to be expected in a game like this. If you love puzzle games then I highly recommend giving Polarium a try. -- Craig Majaski

Polarium review: Simple, challenging, fun, and it makes use of nearly every feature of the DS. A must have for DS gamers.
