Contact review: Still, if you can bear the disappointment, and push on through, you'll realise that, between the whole intertextual thing and the interesting-but-average RPG mechanics, there's still a decent game in here. It's just a shame it's not the amazingly brilliant one it could have been.

Contact review: Pros:- Graphically quaint and appealing- Tonnes of items, weapons and stats- Something a little different and easy to get in toCons: - Very short and weak main quest- Feels like half a game in many respects- Finger-numbing stylus juggling required

Contact review: A promisingly strange premise gives Contact a strong start, but the often-boring combat and exploration sequences that ensue just don't live up to it.

Contact preview: So far it looks as if these outfits could be entirely optional, although the chef seems to be a downright necessity. Unless you want to take super-frequent breaks to the nearest hot bath to restore your beaten body, recipes you buy or find can be essential to not dying. Not that dying is any sort of big deal though; you'll just wake up in your bed as good as new.

Contact preview: This unique little Nintendo DS role-playing game from the creative genius behind Killer7 is playable at E3. We tried to wrap our heads around it.
GameSpy previews
Contact preview: This level of realism is also evident in other aspects of the game. To save, you'll need to sleep, and to regain your strength, you have to go back to your room and take a nice, refreshing bath. Traveling between areas also requires you to get a good night's rest.
