Advanced Search Made Easy:You can increase the accuracy of your searches by adding operators that fine-tune your keywords. Most of the options listed on this page can be entered directly into the Gamepublic search box or selected from Gamepublic's Advanced Search page. Gamepublic supports several advanced operators which are query words that have special meaning. You can get the whole list of advanced search operators at this page. Please note, that advanced search's settings work for the current search only. You may change your settings, however, for all your further searches by accessing Personal Preferences page. Release Date: By using release date option, Gamepublic search will bring you games that have been released after the date you have entered. This option has been added to allow search within prescribed date range. Thus, you may use this option to search for newer games. Game Rating: You may narrow your search by using this option, which will make Gamepublic to search for the games with the same or above rating as what you have set. Results Per Page: Gamepublic's default setting of 10 provides the fastest results. However, you can increase the number or results displayed per page to 25, 50, 75 or 100. Platform: Gamepublic's platform search filter lets you restrict your searches to games of selected platform(s). By using this option, Gamepublic will automatically filter out all games that doesn't fall into selected criteria, thus narrowing your searches. You may select up to 3 platforms. Choose Channel: You may specify up to 3 game channels to search within only. You may search within reviews, demos, screenshots, patches, walkthroughs, videos, cheats, FAQ and previews channels. Genres: Search for the games of specific genre(s) by using Genres option. You can get the whole list of Gamepublic genres at this location. Publisher / Developer: You may search for the games that have been either developed or publisher by that particular company. Please do not put more than one title into the search. Search from this Site: If you know the website you want to search game links from, but aren't sure where the information is located within that site, you can use Gamepublic to search only that domain. You may enter official site's name to start your search. You can search using site's URL as well, however you should enter full website address, including http:// and domain extension. Similar Games: This query will list games that are "similar" to a specified game. Gamepublic uses release date, platform and genres as the main criteria to decide what games are similar to what you have entered into your query.
